Big Dave's is by far the best local shop I've found in the East Bay. Super friendly and knowledgeable, and they're incredibly passionate about what they do, which is reflected in their awesome service.
Pleasant Hill is fortunte to have this friendly, skilled family run shop. I certainly am. They are right off the Contra Costa canal trail on Gregory Lane. Easy to drop in. They are well stocked with accessories.

Dave and his crew are the best. Broke my left shifter on my road bike on a Wednesday. Even having to special order a part they had my bike done on Saturday. Including a full tune up and new bar tape. Highly recommend Big Daves.
Absolutely fantastic service. Everyone there is super friendly. I bought my bike off season so Dave gave me a huge discount. They really take care of you and offer great service. They are also realistic. I brought in a 40year old beater and they patched it up without going overboard. Great products, great advice, great atmosphere, and great service.
