I love this place! You'd expect to pay a bit more when choosing the local store over the big box one. However, I find them to be competitively priced. The hardware is so much better and has a surprisingly larger selection. And of course you can't beat the service!
!I believe in buying "local" when I can. With that said, it's hard to not compare with Amazon or other Big Box retailers to make sure you are getting a good deal. I did some comparison shopping and was pleasantly pleased, when Bill's Ace matched pricing on a Weber BBQ. In addition, they provided assembly, deliver AND they took my old BBQ away. I ended up joining their rewards program and will get coupons, offers and other deals on future purchases.The staff was very personable, helpful and easy to work with. I recommend giving them a try before you purchase on-line from a big box retailer.
Been getting excellent service there my whole life. Staff knows products and where to find them. Made at least 50 Keys there for family and friends. They will always make it right and treat you fairly and with respect. Maybe able to give you solution to a problem as well.

I googled hardware stores near me and it led me to Bills Ace Hardware Store, where I encountered the nicest sales associate I've ever met. I went to the girl at the cash register and told her what I was looking for and she called Gerard to come to help me. Once I showed Gerard the picture of what I needed to fix, he knew exactly what to do. When he took me to the wood stabs I joked that "now I just need a drill" and he stopped and said " oh no, I'm going to put it together for you, that's something we can do here". I thought of how AutoZone will put on wiper blades for you. Well he took my supplies in the back and came back with everything put together. I ran home to use it but alas, it didn't work the way I envisioned. It kept falling down. Anyway I went back to Gerard and explained what happened. After listening to me, he knew what was needed AND then proceeded to make it right for me. And I left with the finished product to support my RV drain line. It took quite awhile to make but I've never had a hardware store that went above and beyond for their customers. I wish every associate was like Gerard, not that you have to build things for your customers but that you take the time to listen and make sure that you are satisfied. I am a customer for Bill's Ace that will be singing this story to all that will listen. Thank you again Gerard for going the extra mile! I really do appreciate it!!!
