I love downtown Pleasant Hill. It's a great place for people, especially teens/young adults, to hang out! They have different food places and resteraunts and places to go clothes shopping or see a movie. It's a nice place to walk around and a good way to do some shopping or just do something fun like see a movie or get ice cream. Whatever it may be, Downtown PH is the place to be.

Nice shopping area. Food place for walking on your own or with someone. Fine for families with kids. Lots of places to eat. Street parking and free garage parking. Some road noise from Contra Costa Blvd otherwise great.
I live in Walnut Creek but go out to Pleasant Hill downtown probably more often than Walnut Creek one. I find it to have more relaxing atmosphere with less people running around shopping which I find a lot in Walnut Creek. And at the same time Pleasant Hill has a lot of cool newer restaurants and cafes! It's my to go place for Sunday brunches!
Easy parking. Lots of choices for food and shopping. Clean and friendly. Theater shows nice selection of first run movies.
